PwC confirmed 2026 Czech new car registrations forecast at 250,000-260,000 units (+1% to +5%, 2025: 248,719), based on development to date (Q1: +1.5%, Q2: +10%). In June, Volkswagen (+801 cars), Škoda (+1,759) and Hyundai (+316) showed particularly strong registrations, accounting for 68% increase (+2,876) in month (+4,191); however, new Chinese brands also recorded strong growth.
