2024 Bratislava Motor Show (Autosalon Bratislava): Incheba cancelled 31st exhibition of cars, vans in Bratislava, Slovakia (April 11-14). Reason for postponement is situation, that also affected all major world motor shows, related to uncertainty regarding participation of many brands at exhibition, organizer said. In 2023, nine exhibitors (Auto-Impex, AutoRoch-Slovakia, CWN/CampingWorld Neugebauer, Exclusive Cars Vertriebs, Frey Luxury Cars, M Motors SK, Plastonic, T.O.P. PwC increased 2024 Czech new car registrations forecast from 200,000-220,000 units (-1% to -10%, 2023: 221,422) to 205,000-225,000 units (-7% to +2%). Demand for cars continues to be significantly affected by current relatively less favorable economic situation (weak economy, expensive financing), which, according to current forecasts, we expect gradual improvement during this year, especially with regard to development of inflation. Improving indicators to gradually improve purchasing power of companies and consumers as well as their mood and have positive effect on demand.
