Automakers, suppliers in Czechia reported record production volume, profitability in Q1. We have had two record years (2024, 2025) and I think that production to be at least at same level in 2026 (1.47 million vehicles), maybe even higher. This is thanks to very good technical capabilities in Czech Republic, still relatively favorable production costs and also brands that are currently doing well in Europe (Škoda, Toyota, Hyundai), Jahn (AutoSAP) said. This is happening in midst of transformation of automotive industry from fossil-fuel to zero-emission road mobility (2015-2035), primarily from internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEVs) to electric vehicles (BEVs, FCEVs)
