China expanded export restrictions on rare earth elements (REE; including alloys) on November 8, which are important for automotive industry and other sectors (magnets, battery cells, semiconductors, green energy). Electric vehicle drivers consumed 2,660 MWh of electricity (+6.4% q/q, +45% y/y) in PRE Point public charging network in Czechia in Q3 during 136,000 recharges (+6.3% q/q, +39% y/y) at 874 charging stations (785 owned by Pražská energetika, 89 in partnership mode), 7,610 MWh (+47%) in Q1-3. Average electricity consumption per charging increased to 30.3 kWh at ultra-fast charging (UFC) stations, utilization according to charging station performance to 3.66% (time utilization to 7.55%). Our PRE Point network reached 4% utilization in September for first time in history in terms of performance and even significantly exceeded 8% in terms of time, Hladík said, adding that PRE plans to operate 900 public charging stations by end of 2025

Electric vehicle drivers consumed more than 770 MWh of electricity (+23% m/m; Prague: 139,536 kWh, South Moravian Region: 115,493 kWh, Vysočina Region: 102,527 kWh, South Bohemian Region: 87,463 kWh, other regions: 324,981 kWh) during 32,625 recharges (+25% m/m) in E.ON Drive public charging network in Czechia in October, 5,798 MWh during 247,625 recharges at 706 charging points at 344 stations in more than 220 locations in first 10 months. Consumption increased most in Olomouc Region (+59% m/m). In Olomouc Region, we also recorded higher use of our charging location for heavy goods vehicles and buses in Mořice. While we had units of charging there monthly after opening in July, we are currently talking about dozens.
