AutoSAP: Car production in Czechia up by 9.9% y/y to 135,983 in September, down by 0.7% to 1.09 million in Q1-3 (Škoda+SEAT/Cupra +26.9%, +4.8% to 705,393; Hyundai -31.9%, -15.6% to 213,975; Toyota +7.7%, -0.4% to 170,048). Crossing one million vehicle production mark and second strongest month in terms of production this year is clearly success for Czech automotive industry in current situation and traditionally good news for domestic economy. In case of Škoda Auto, it is even managing to break 130-year record in vehicle production at Czech plants, when limit of 4,000 vehicles produced per day was broken, Jahn said.
