Autofox celebrated second year on market, winning first clients outside Czech Rep

PRAGUE (February 17, 2011) - Autofox celebrated its second year on the market on Thursday. The past year was again marked by strengthening of sources and improving the quality of reporting. "Many other companies began to use the information published by Autofox, not only in the Czech Republic. Autofox has been slowly gaining a cross-border importance, in 2010; first clients from Slovakia, Germany and Austria occurred," managing director and editor in chief, Marek Balla stated.
However, it places increased demands on editors and the strengthening of news service from other markets in Central Europe. English publishing has become a necessity, which is often appreciated by Czech managers as well. Readers’ structure has slightly changed. Automotive suppliers dominate (40%), followed by car dealers (25%), financial companies (25%) and carmakers (10%).

The growing interest in the information published by Autofox is also evident from the development of its website visit rate. While in January 2010 Autofox.cz had 3,300 unique visitors, in July 2010 it was already 4,800 visitors. "In January 2011, we got over the 6,000 limit of unique visitors for the first time, recording 6,470 RU. This is significantly above the cost of specialized magazines, and we are slowly going to attack the consumer-oriented portals," Marek Balla outlined the growing trend.

Autofox entered the Czech media market in order to provide information service from the automotive industry with an emphasis on economic information. Its priority remains to focus on the Czech Republic and Central Europe, but also to bring important global information.
